Ride A Pet Update 2 and the MUTATIONS Event: Official Times and Wording

The group “this game is gud”, which made the game, posted an event on Roblox called “Update 2” on 2026-09-18, and last edited it on 2026-09-19 22:31 UTC. Here is everything the event says, word for word:

• Subtitle: Really Cool Update
• Description: x2 Cash Boost + More
• Time: 2026-09-26 13:00 UTC to 2026-09-27 13:00 UTC, for place 124216119978534, the official game

That is the whole of the official Update 2 announcement we can read. It names an x2 Cash Boost and “More”. It does not say what the “More” is, whether the x2 Cash Boost lasts for the 24 hours of the event or longer, or whether new eggs or pets come with it. We will not guess. When it is live, we will add only what the developer publishes or what we can see in the game.

Roblox gives the event times in UTC. We converted them for a few time zones; daylight saving is as it will be on September 26, 2026.

The first event, 🧬 MUTATIONS 🧬, was posted on 2026-09-12 and last edited on 2026-09-16 23:35 UTC. Its subtitle is More Content and its whole description is one fragment: can be stacked with weather traits.... It runs from 2026-09-19 14:00 UTC to 2026-09-26 14:00 UTC.

So the developer's own words confirm two things: weather traits exist in the game, and mutations can be stacked with them. They do not say which mutations there are, how you get one or how much faster a stacked pet goes. The game's Roblox description adds one more official line about mutations: Mutate your Pets to go even faster.

The game's Roblox title changed around this update. Roblox's charts showed “Ride A Pet” on September 17, “[⌛] Ride A Pet” on September 18 and “[🧬] Ride A Pet” on September 19, the day the event began, with the event's DNA icon. On September 23 the title still started with [🧬].

Third-party guides name mutations and give multipliers for them. None of that is in the developer's text, so we keep it on our home page, labeled as theirs, and leave the numbers out. Mutation names from third-party guides

Roblox lists two events for the game, both posted by “this game is gud” and both pointing to place 124216119978534. We asked for the full list on September 22 and again on September 23, including a request for every event since January 1, 2026. Each time the answer was the same two events.

The name “Update 2” suggests an earlier update, but Roblox has no event for an Update 1, and we have found no official text that names one. If the developer posts a new event, it will appear in Roblox's event list for the game, and we will add it here with the date we read it.

Separately from events, Roblox keeps a “last updated” time for every game. It moves whenever the developer publishes a new version, big or small, and it carries no update name. These are the times we saw:

So the developer published new versions at least twice between our first read on September 20 and September 23, and posted no new event for either of them. A Ride A Pet update can land without an announcement, and a new “last updated” time on its own does not tell you what changed.

1. The developer's Roblox events. The MUTATIONS event and Update 2 each have their own page on roblox.com, linked above. The developer announced both of them this way.
2. The game's title. The icon in brackets changed from ⌛ to 🧬 as the MUTATIONS event began.
3. The game description. It has not changed since we first read it on 2026-09-20, and it has no patch notes.
4. The developer group. Its description is the single word “gud”, and it has no group shout posted.

Guide sites and videos post update notes of their own, but those are their summaries, not the developer's. We could not confirm an official Discord server either, so we cannot read patch notes there.
